With over 125 lakes, Val-des-Monts is a well-known cottage destination in the Outaouais. Right next to Gatineau, the municipality offers beautiful landscapes and direct access to nature. Perkins village is about 30 km from downtown Gatineau.
Waterfront vs Off-Waterfront
The price difference between waterfront and off-waterfront properties is large. Direct lake access often comes at a much higher price. If your budget is limited, properties with community lake access offer an excellent compromise.
